# How to get 64 bit MAC address from SNMP exporter Prometheus

We need to get the complete 64 bit MAC address from the devices (like when I do the snmpwalk on the device) instead of 48bit by default. In the snmp.yml , for MAC address is taking the default PhysAddress48 type. Can someone help to fix the issue?

We need the data like, MAC : 00:00:0f:00:00:0f:00:00:0f:00:00:0f:64:36:0f:00:01
