I’m currently maintaining an [MQTT exporter](https://github.com/fhemberger/mqtt_exporter) for Prometheus and was thinking about moving it to `https://github.com/prometheus-community/` to probably attract a bigger contributor audience. Is there some sort of process to join the `prometheus-community` GitHub organization? Would there be any interest in having a community curated MQTT exporter at all?

Yes sure, the process is just to ask. We would need to look around and
list the different MQTT exporter to make sure we “promote” the ““right
one””.
