# Prometheus gives empty query result

Prometheus gives me an empty result for the query “max by (brokerName) (rate(org\_apache\_activemq\_Broker\_TotalDequeueCount{brokerName=“activemq-instance-internal”} [1m]) \* -1 )”  
However the metric “org\_apache\_activemq\_Broker\_TotalDequeueCount” gives a result.
