You could look into the code for NewDesc: Search · NewDesc · GitHub

it seems there are metrics for sensors, BGP routes, OS… but the list is not documented. It’s probably best to setup a POC and see.

curious, where would you install this ? - can’t imagine it’s onto the switch ?

can it pull data from Cisco Nexus range of switches ?
bonus question, can it pull information from the Nexgen FW’s ?
