Role_arn doesn't work while sigv4 to remote write to aws instance

While remote writing to aws with role assumed, it seems we cannot deploy promethues with this cofiguration, below is the error

level=error msg=“Failed to apply configuration” err=“could not get SigV4 credentials: NoCredentialProviders: no valid providers in chain. Deprecated.\n\tFor verbose messaging see aws.Config.CredentialsChainVerboseErrors”

Any help would be appreciated

What is your remote write configuration?

How are you hosting Prometheus? What version?

How is the role being attached?
