Values not reflected in deployed Kubernetes resources.

I edited the values file (values.yaml) for helm charts of kube-prometheus-stack, after installing the helm release, the updated values are well applied by checking the helm get values command, however, upon checking Kubernetes resources, I noticed that these values are not applied, someone can guide me about this issue?
