Is it possible to use Prometheus alerting in instant messaging such as Whatsapp or Telegram?

My question is if we can use the alerts part of Prometheus to show them in Whatsapp or some kind of instant messaging.

To be able to send a alert, you need support both in alertmanager and the destination… if there is no api or bot for the destination to use, alertmanager can’t do their integration.

For telegram, you can have bots, so there is a telegram bot integration. Matrix and slack also have integrations
For whatsapp, there is any kind of external api or bot support, so you can’t use it at all for this kind of task, use a better IM tool
