Prometheus remote write for old data

I have some IOT data and they’re not today data. I just got the error of out of bounds when i push the data to prometheus.

Prometheus has the potential as a database for IOT data?

Same test for VictoriaMetrics and working now.

VM have paramter of -search.cacheTimestampOffset for this problem.

Expect Prometheus to do the same.
