SNMP-Exporter cannot collect data from the network device due to some reason

Hi Team,

SNMP-Exporter cannot collect data from the network device due to some reason. Please find the attached error message and help to feedback.

Note: SNMP walk works fine from the server to the network device.

After increasing the interval and timeout, I get another error as below:

An error has occurred while serving metrics:

error collecting metric Desc{fqName: “snmp_error”, help: “Error scraping target”, constLabels: {}, variableLabels: []}: error getting target 10.0.134.10: request timeout (after 3 retries)

Please kindly help to share the solution for it.

Me too facing the same issue. tried with versions v2c and v3. but still the issue persists. I am running the snmp exporter as a docker container. Any solution is highly appreciated. Thanks
